I happened to visit Kyoto during the height of "School Trip Season", when all Japanese classes go on overnight tours. At the Nijo, the second castle of the Shogun, I snapped this picture of some middle school students feeding the koi. The copper green of the castle contrasted perfectly with the bright orange of the fish, and made for a great painting.
